We spend a fair amount of time using the web, and in line with most heavy users, will generally only use a website that fulfills a fairly standard set of requirements :

• The pages must load quickly
• Navigation must be clear
• If we're trying to buy something, we would prefer to conclude the transaction immediately, rather than fill out a form manually and send it with a cheque
• It helps if the site looks good

When designing websites we keep this simple list in mind. We build websites to the most recent standards, prefer to keep fancy gimmicks to a minimum, and try to ensure that the site displays properly on all the main browsers in use.

We do not use ready-made templates. Every website we build is coded from scratch, to your specification. Because we are programmers first and foremost, the code is light, and easy to maintain. We always try to think a couple of steps ahead, and will discuss with you what plans you might have for future expansion, as it is best to build with these ideas in mind from the outset.

There is no point in having a great website that cannot be found, and so we are also able to advise on search engine optimisation, and always build our sites with this in mind.
