BUD Solutions Ltd is the trading name of Anthony Manning.

After studying graphic design at the Falmouth School of Art I worked as a freelance designer and then worked in a number of different industries while trying to pursue a career writing music.

In 1998 my wife and I moved to Dartmoor to help to run a small hotel, and soon after, the reality that the music would never make enough money to pay the bills sank in. In 2000 I retrained as a programmer, building desktop applications in C++ then C#, and troubleshooting complex ecommerce sites in php.

I decided to set up my own business after being made redundant in the summer of 2003. BUD Solutions was incorporated in October of that year, No. 04957457.

Because of my varied working career and the fact that I see computers as a useful tool, rather than the be all and end all, I tend to see technology from the user's point of view from the outset. My key objective is to understand why a customer needs a particular tool, and then build something that doesn't require technical knowledge in order to use it.
